Country Representative, Sri Lanka
Solidar Suisse / Swiss Labour Assistance SAH operates since 2005 in Sri Lanka, delivering assistance and recovery to disaster and conflict affected families throughout the country. The current focus is on livelihood projects in the North of the country.
The position of the Country Representative involves the whole range of coordination and management duties within the setting of the humanitarian aid and reconstruction programme, as well as the representation of SAH towards local and Swiss authorities and international donors and NGOs.
Several years experience in senior management positions in humanitarian and development contexts, field experience as well as strong leadership and demonstrated management skills in complex environment are requested. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German would be a plus, prior work experience in South Asia is preferable.
